The Perfect Poker Couple - His Play
She Says: "Go dear, good luck and have fun."
He Says: The Truth! He wins more then he loses.
He is always home before midnight to kiss her goodnight and he shares his winnings. (At least 10% for those of you who really want to know)
The Perfect Poker Couple - Her Play

A PokerPeace
I checked my options.
She had seen this strategy before and decided to follow my lead.
Together we watched as the court Jester, the King and Queen arrived from Normandie.
Certainly my rockets would reach their goal and take down this royal family.
I raised the stakes hoping that she would accept defeat, but she surprised me once again and moved in step.
As I looked up I could see two colorful figures descending towards the field.
Landing at the feet of their King, these were no ordinary pair of Mallards.
I sensed my opponent's hesitation and sent in what remained of my army.
Rather then retreat, she moved swiftly and joined me mid-field.
Looking into her eyes, I knew that I had met my equal.
Our rockets were of equal proportion.
Today would bring no winner, no loser.
Our armies returned safely home.
There were no casualties on this day.
Only Peace

Kaleidoscope In The Beginning
Hand in hand across the fields
Blanketed in multi-colored hues
We walked together through a kaleidoscope
One heart, One song, One voice
The colors were like the sudden absence of winter
Or the brightness of joy
And there were children everywhere
Their smiles like flowers
Gazing into the blue, into eternity
A circular dance celebrating life
Love, a perfect moment captured forever
And the colors edged their way above us
Like a blessing
As though perhaps the Tulips had followed us home
In benediction,
An archway that we walked through
Hand in hand
One heart, One song, One voice.

Playing Nice
We could learn a lot from crayons.
Some are sharp like Doyle and Dan, some are pretty as Cyndy and Tran and some are just dull.
Some have weird names like Fossil and Too Tight
but all are different colors like a rainbow casting its light
We must remember that we all have to play in the same box!
